ARTISTS WANTED First of all a big thank you to all of you who helped make the Whale Fest 2008 Art Show a big success. We had a very successful art show in 2008 and look forward to Whale Fest Art Show 2009. We are excited to announce The Next Page has agreed to host the Art Show again and art will hang for the whole month of April. We are looking for original ocean inspired creations, ready to display. Submissions will be accepted at The Next Page, on Tuesday, March 31 at 6pm. Items must be ready to hang. The art show will be on display April 1-30. Any unsold pieces will be available to pick up between 5-6pm at The Next Page, unless other arrangements have been made. 25% of proceeds will be donated to Whale Fest Kodiak. Up to 3 pieces per person, any medium, new ocean inspired creations. Call Jennifer Ott 486-6164 (kjott@kjottcompany.com)with questions. Also seeking volunteers to be in charge of the Whale Fest art show. Possibly help out this year but to be able to manage next year, as Jennifer will be relocating.
